Yummy Asian Ground Turkey Lettuce Wraps
1 Tbs vegetable oil
1 chopped red onion
2 Tbs minced garlic
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
6 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs chili powder
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
1 small heads butter lettuce (or 2 if you'd like more big leaves to choose from)
1) Chop onion, mince garlic, and chop cilantro and set aside.
2) Heat vegetable oil and saute onion for two minutes, then add garlic and saute another minute. Add turkey and break up, then add soy sauce and chili powder. Cook until turkey is brown and crumbly and the sauce is slightly reduced (about 5 minutes).
3) Last add cilantro and chopped peanuts (optional) and cook two more minutes.
4) Serve with butter lettuce.
This is one of the easiest and tastiest things I've ever made and it's made with turkey so you don't have to feel guilty afterwards!
i always like looking at the photos of you cooking adventures, it makes me hungry.
